Pocket Verdict started as a group chat where a few of us kept swapping screenshots of weird little games we'd found. At some point the recommendations got so good we figured other people might want them too, so here we are with a proper site instead of a messy thread.,The rule is simple: we don't write about a game unless someone on the team has actually played it for a while. No copy-pasted store descriptions, no ranking by download counts. If a game felt clumsy after an hour, we'll say so. If a scrappy indie surprised us, that gets a spotlight.,We cover the whole spread on purpose. Racing, strategy, adventure, cozy simulators, card games, the occasional brain-melting puzzle. A phone can hold a lot of different moods, and we like matching the right game to the right afternoon.,Everything here is written by humans who care a bit too much about frame pacing and menu design. We're not perfect and our taste is our taste, but we promise it's ours.
