Hollow Lantern is the kind of game that makes you want to slow down. You wander a soft, hand-drawn city with a lantern that reveals hidden paths and forgotten notes. There's no combat, just puzzles woven into the environment and a story you piece together as you go.

The touch controls are gentle and forgiving, which fits the mood. Tapping to move and to interact never felt fiddly, and the game does a good job nudging you toward the next area without holding your hand too tightly.

We finished it in a couple of cozy sittings and immediately missed it. If you want something atmospheric to unwind with, this is an easy recommendation.
